The seat is Balbi Street 38/b

Since Thursday February 13th, 2003 the library has offered its users two new rooms of consultation at the new premises located in Via Balbi 38b. These two new rooms are easily reachable from the Railway Station of piazza Principe and are partly placed in the complex of the ex Colombia Hotel, future seat of library.

The new offered services are:

50 bottom places

reading on seat with its books

1 room of reading with shelf opened consultation (according to the Dewey classification)

2 positions for the research in the on line catalogues

local loan

service of information and orientation

1 multimedia room with: 2 positions for the electronic mail (on reservation), 3 positions for the researches in Internet, 2 positions for the consultation of the local data bases and the on line catalogues, 1 position for the consultation of the on line catalogues

all the book news starting from the purchases of 2000 year

newspaper and periodical library with 10 dailies and ca. 1.000 current periodicals

self-service photocopies
